Excedrin comprises of a mixture of acetaminophen, caffeine and aspirin. Acetaminophen is a pain reliever and a reducer of the fever. Aspirin is for the group of medications known as salicylates. It functions by decreasing the substances in the body that produces fever, pain, and inflammation. Caffeine is a CNS stimulant. It eases the contractions of the muscle in blood vessels to increase flow of blood.
Excedrin (Acetaminophen) Uses
This product is a mixture and combination of aspirin, caffeine and acetaminophen. It is used for the temporary release of pain from situations like toothaches, muscle aches, headaches (including migraine) or menstrual cramps. Acetaminophen and aspirin relieve pain by stopping your body from making some of the natural substances. Caffeine benefits you in increasing the effects of acetaminophen and aspirin.
Excedrin (Acetaminophen) Side Effects
Nausea, stomach upset, vomiting, a shaky/nervous feeling or trouble falling asleep may happen. If any of these effects worsen or persist, tell doctor promptly.
Stop consuming this medicine and let your doctor know immediately if any of these improbable nonetheless serious side effects happen: severe fainting, dizziness, persistent stomach pain, vomit like coffee grounds, bloody / black stools, loss of hearing, ringing in the ears, fast / uneven heartbeat, variations in the amount of urine, infection signs (such as, persistent fever or sore throat), easy bleeding / bruising.
Excedrin (Acetaminophen) Precautions
Prior to consuming this this product, let your doctor know if you are sensitive to it; or to the aspirin or other NSAIDs (for example naproxen, ibuprofen, celecoxib); or to other salicylates (for example choline salicylate); or to caffeine; or to acetaminophen; or if you are having any other allergies. This medicine might comprise of inactive ingredients, which can produce allergic reactions or other difficulties.
This medcine should not be consumed if you are having the following medicinal disorder: aspirin-sensitive asthma (a worsening breathing history along with stuffy / runny nose subsequently using aspirin or other NSAIDs for example naproxen, ibuprofen).

This medication should not be consumed with the subsequent medicines since very severe interactions may happen: mifepristone, ketorolac.
