Some lab tests and screenings are also done.

Paranoid schizophrenia requires continual treatments, treatments are same for all the kinds of schizophrenia just a little difference in the severity, types of symptoms and health. Treatment includes personal and cognitive therapies, complete concentration of family members and friends, psychiatrist, psychologist, social workers and pharmacist. Many drugs are used to treat schizophrenia but they have some side effects that include weight gain, diabetes and other physical health issues. Doctors mostly prescribe antidepressants. Its severity and mismanagement can lead to hospitalization.
